Hi everyone! I’m Louisa West and I’m thrilled to pop in today to talk about my books and series you might enjoy. So let’s get stuck in!

Sleepy Hollow Mysteries🌶️

This is my brand new series, having just launched in August this year. The first book, Ghost Appeal, is actually a prequel novel for the series. It tells the tale of how Ivy Hearst–ghost whisperer extraordinaire–solves a murder, keeps herself out of jail, and then has to flee town with a shadow-demon hot on her heels. Book one of the series, Baby Got Ghost, will be released in December and I’m having a blast writing Ivy as she settles into her new job as the Sleepy Hollow cemetery caretaker. Not all is as it seems though… there’s a strange ghost living in her cottage, a tiny kitten finds its way into her heart, and of course there is another murder that needs solving with the help of the ghostly victim. Sound like your jam? You can check out the Sleepy Hollow Mysteries series here.

Midlife in Mosswood🌶️🌶️

My very first series, Mosswood is where I started writing four years ago and a piece of my heart will always live there! There’s something so satisfying as a single mother writing a story that connects with you on that level. Rosemary Bell is on the run from a bad relationship and looking for a place for her and her daughter Maggie to start fresh. She didn’t realize that it would mean a small town full of (mostly) small-minded people, a new love interest, and rediscovering herself and her family legacy. Mosswood is full of sass, heart, and quirky magical situations (Great Dane sized rabbits, anyone?) and Rosie’s found-family will feel like your besties in no time. You can explore this completed series here.

My Celestial Midlife🌶️

This series is a bunch of fun! It features Bunny, a surly night-shift nurse who goes to work in aged care. She ends up seeing a man in black in the corner of her eye–turns out he’s Death himself! Bunny seems to have been left a rather unusual legacy by her mother, and now she has to learn how to be Life… and work together with Death to ensure the souls of the world remain in equilibrium. But the Devil and his minions have other ideas. Madcap adventures through the underworld and beyond ensue. Fun fact–Bunny is the older sister of Ben Major, one of Rosie’s very best friends in my Mosswood series. You can check out Bunny’s adventure’s here. The last Celestial book will drop in the first half of 2025.

Gwen Lee Adventures🌶️🌶️🌶️

What do you get if you cross Lara Croft, Indiana Jones, Romancing the Stone and The Lost City together? A crazy adventure in the Mediterranean with a hot as hell Chinese-American treasure hunter who wants to find a mythological artifact. That’s right–Gwen’s on the hunt for the Trident of Poseidon, and she’ll stop at nothing to recover it and sell it for cash to fund her luxe lifestyle. But she’s not the only one who wants such a powerful weapon. A shark shapeshifter, a sexy siren, and a kraken all want to get their fins/hands/tentacles on it as well–each for their own nefarious purposes. Can Gwen beat them to the chase? And more importantly, can she survive her younger sister’s enthusiasm? Find out in Gwen Lee and the Trident of Poseidon here.

Monsters of Whitechapel🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

Like your monsters a little more devilish? I write super-spicy Victorian why-choose monster romance as Lucy Lark. Her flagship series is Monsters of Whitechapel, which focuses on Bex Nightingale, a coroner in Victorian East London. When her father is murdered Bex is drawn into a dangerous world of intrigue, horror, and almost certain death. Her father’s alliance with a group of men who are distinctly not human has her head–and other parts of her anatomy–in a spin. And to top it all off, her policeman brother draws her into a spate of murders literally ripping up Whitechapel… You can find out more about this series here, with more books to release in 2025.

As you can see, I write fairly broadly and there is definitely something for everyone in what I write. I hope you’ll give me a go, and let me know what you think. If you’ve read any of the above, let me know in the comments. I always love hearing from readers.

  1. I have read your Midlife In Mosswood series and loved it! I always wondered what was up with Ben’s sister. I’m excited to check out Bunny’s series, as well as the others, so I can find out about her!
