Today we’d love to introduce you to Witchy Chicks wonderful Renee George and Robyn Peterman!
Renee George

USA Today Bestselling Author, Renee George writes paranormal mysteries and romances because she loves all things whodunit, Otherworldly, and weird. Also, she wishes her pittie, the adorable Kona, could talk. Or at least be more like Scooby-Doo and help her unmask villains at the haunted house up the street.
What three words best describe you? Adaptable, Sincere, Humorous
Why did you decide to write witchy fiction? Magic is magical. During the toughest times in my life, reading books full of magic and hope gave me a safe place to reside. It’s why I love the escapism of writing these fantastical worlds with strong, optimistic heroines.
Of all the books you’ve written, which is your favorite? The next book on my to-write list is always my favorite. LOL. I don’t really have a favorite, honestly. There are some that were easier and some that were harder to write, but the ones I look forward to the most are the ones I’ve yet to write (and usually while I’m writing my current work in progress. Hah!).

Which of your characters are you most like, and which are you most different from? All my heroines have a piece of me in them. Right now, I’d say my character Marigold Everlee from my Destiny of a Middle-aged Witch series. The chaos in her mind mirrors my own. We are both adult women over 40, living our best adventure, while navigating midlife and ADHD. The characters who care about clothing brands and labels are the least like me. Don’t get me wrong, I like to look nice and presentable, but I don’t care how I get there.
What can we expect next from you? Djinn Bottle Blues: Destiny of a Middle-aged Witch Book 2 is next, coming at the end of October. Perfect for the witchy season.
What’s your drink of choice? It’s a tie between coffee and Diet Coke.

Robyn Peterman

NYT and USA Today best selling author, Robyn Peterman writes because the people inside her head won’t leave her alone until she gives them life on paper. She writes snarky, sexy, funny paranormal and snarky, sexy, funny contemporaries. Her addictions include laughing really hard with friends, shoes (the expensive kind), Target, Coke (the drink LOL) with extra ice in a Yeti cup, bejeweled reading glasses, her kids, her super-hot hubby and collecting stray animals.
What three words best describe you? Funny, loyal and blunt.
Why did you decide to write witchy fiction? I think it’s because I find life magical. I love the lack of rules in paranormal fiction. My head is filled with crazy and my witches embody it beautifully.
Of all the books you’ve written, which is your favorite? That’s a Sophie’s Choice question. LOL The answer for me is whatever book I’m writing at the time.

Which of your characters are you most like, and which are you most different from? There’s a piece of me in everyone I write, from Zelda to Fat Bastard to Candy Vargo and even the fabulously obnoxious Satan. I think it’s unconscious, but when I read it later I can see it. There are also little quirks and traits of friends and family in my characters. Of course, I’m never gonna name names. LOL
What can we expect next from you? A nervous breakdown. KIDDING. Next for me is Having the Time of My Midlife.
What’s your drink of choice? Iced Coffee with a squirt of chocolate syrup over rabbit turd ice in a Yeti cup. OR Coke—full sugared.
